    Do I need experience to start kitesurfing?

    No experience is required. Our beginner lessons are designed for complete beginners. Our instructors will guide you step by step from basic kite control to your first ride on the water.

    Most beginners need between 8 and 12 hours of lessons to start riding independently. Progress depends on wind conditions, physical coordination, and previous experience in board sports.

    Children can usually start learning kitesurfing from 12 years old, depending on their weight and physical ability. For younger students we recommend private lessons for safety and better learning.

    Essaouira is one of the windiest spots in Morocco, with excellent conditions from April to October. During these months, the wind is strong and consistent, making it perfect for learning and progressing.

    We offer several options depending on your preference:

    • Private lessons (1 student / 1 instructor)

    • Semi-private lessons (2 students / 1 instructor)

    • Small group lessons

    Yes. Experienced riders can rent full equipment or bring their own gear and rent only the board or kite. We can also recommend the best spots depending on the wind conditions.
